We modern people, with our furnaces and air tight homes are often cut off from the rhythms of the natural world. But the moon remains visible as she tracks across the sky each day, waxing and waning. Reminding us that our own lives too follow regular patterns of filling and emptying, growth and loss. As we gather in the light of the fullness of the moon we are reminding of what is full within us, what is ready to overflow as a gift to the world. And that even if we are full at the moment there will be change. And that this is natural, not to be feared.
